DESCRIPTION

Retaining adhesives are anaerobic adhesives which cures in presence of metal and in absence of air. Retaining compounds fill the inner space between cylindrical components and cure to form a strong precision assembly. They are widely accepted as a standard method for assembling press-fit and slip-fit parts. The application areas includes bearings, bushings and cylindrical parts into housings or onto shafts. It also reduces the requirement of machining tolerances and high strength assembly available at less cost.
