Gasketing adhesives are available in anaerobic as well as RTV, UV cured chemistries. Gasketing adhesives replaces conventional gaskets and gives leak free joint for prolong period of time. The selection of gasketing adhesives depends on the fluid in contact, operating temperatures, pressures, material of langes, etc. It helps in filling the gaps and surface irregularities in the joint effectively to give a complete leak proof joint. Gasketing adhesives forms a gasket which do not settle or relax. It also prevents corrosion, ensuring ease of disassembly.
