DESCRIPTION
Thread locking adhesives are anaerobic adhesives i.e. they cure in absence of oxygen and in presence of metals. Threadlocking adhesives are used on nuts and bolts to keep the assembly from self loosening due to vibrations. The varients are available to provide specific properties such as needed torque strength, curing time, thicksotropic property, solvent resistance, heat resistance, viscosity, compatibility with the nut and bolt materials and toxicity.
